We are a young Viennese design studio for high-quality everyday companions – from clothing, shoes, bags, and purses to furniture. Using only the highest quality materials from sustainable production, we manufacture to the highest ecological and social standards in close cooperation with industry-leading workshops in Europe. In order to keep the prices as low as possible despite the high material and production costs, we sell directly in our Atelier&Shop in Vienna and in our webshop. Founded in 2015 by product designer Sebastian Leitinger, we are known for our long-lasting design focused on the essentials and our unconditional commitment to traditional craftsmanship and sustainability.

Freitag Store Wien
FREITAG manufactures bags and accessories from used and, increasingly, closed-loop recyclable materials. What began in Zurich in 1993 with messenger bags made from used lorry tarpaulins now comprises around 60 models, each of which is unique. FREITAG products are robust and functional everyday companions that can expect an even longer, more fulfilling life thanks to repair and exchange offers.

This concept store not only stocks carefully picked designer fashion – DOMUS VIVENDI is also the studio and production site of the MODUS VIVENDI fashion label, providing an insight into the working world of the designers. In addition to the in-house collections, a wide variety of international slow fashion brands as well as vintage accessories and furnishings can be found here. DOMUS VIVENDI is multifaceted, colourful, and yet wonderfully chill.

Vienna’s go-to place for vintage Scandinavian design is designqvist. In this shop, owned by the half-Swede Sandra Nalepka, anyone looking for something special can find home décor and fine dining products from the 1950s to the 1960s: art glass and glassware, cutlery classics, crockery, enamel cookware, lighting, candlesticks, ceramics, teak, and textiles. She has also created an excellent blog with information about Nordic design and newly arrived items.
